Membership in the Alberta Collaborative Resolution Association (“ACRA”) is open to the following individuals:

Professional Members: This membership group is open to legal professionals who wish to provide collaborative law services to end clients. This membership group requires existing membership as an active, practicing member of the Law Society of Alberta, appropriate liability insurance, as well as ongoing training requirements. The cost is $200 for a two-year term.

Associate Members: This membership group is open to any individual who is interested in collaborative dispute resolution but does not intend to provide collaborative dispute resolution services to end clients. In-house counsel, financial and mental health professionals should choose an Associate Membership. Associate members have access to the education, resources and networking opportunities provided by ACRA but are not required to be active members of the Law Society of Alberta. Associate Members are also not required to complete any training in collaborative law. The cost is $50 for a two-year term.
